The American Foundation For Opioid Alternatives
With the ever growing opioid epidemic within America, we felt as though the time was now to give back. The principle goal of TAFFOA is multi-phased:
- Provide grant opportunities to support low-income, recovering opioid addicts so they may have access to medical equipment and medical services not otherwise available or paid for by their insurance
- Fund studies for new and existing alternatives to opioid therapies and equipment
- Provide sponsored education events regarding opioid usage dangers for opioid-naive patients
- Provide grant opportunities to pay for medical equipment and medical services to opioid-naive, injured student athletes
- Give back to the community through charitable contributions and pro bono services
